This shot is from the summit of Black Mesa and is a small part of the basalt that caps the mesa.  This little patch of gravel was sitting amongst grasses and other plants.  Another of those shots where I liked the shapes and colors of the frame.  As to the title...  I think pretty much all of the earth tone colors are there.
