July 4th Fireworks 2007
In 2007 the Oklahoma City fireworks display was
moved from Bricktown to the old Downtown Airpark just south of the North
Canadian River. The fireworks themselves were launched from the north
side of the river affording the opportunity for a selection of a site
allowing for some nice foreground interest of the Western Avenue bridge and
reflections off the river. An added bonus was a line of thunderstorms
northwest of the city with lightning flashes to add some natural fireworks
to the man made ones. Each shot was for five seconds and then
multiple shots, usually two were combined in Photoshop. Click the image below to enter this
