I've always found it difficult to capture the grandeur of canyons and gorges and I feel I failed again with this shot.  But it's closer than other attempts on film.  Maybe someday I'll be able to figure out how to shoot these.  I think the secret for this type of shot is shooting from the bottom up.  But that's an awful long way down and a longer way up!
